BELEZA

Beleza (pronounced 'Bell-ay-za') is a Portuguese word for 'beauty'. In Brazil, it is also used as slang to describe a chill vibe or simply to express 'it's all good'! At Beleza Coffee Bar, we strive to create an atmosphere that inspires this feeling when you walk through our doors.

Our mission at Beleza Coffee Bar is to inspire and delight our community with finely crafted beverages and exceptional service.

Coffee Program

Beleza Coffee Bar is a multi-roaster concept coffee shop. Great coffee is imported by fantastic roasters all over the country and we have a unique opportunity to bring these coffees to Beleza and share the beauty of rotating selections with our community here in Boulder.

Beleza curates a carefully chosen menu of coffee offerings that features local Colorado roaster, Sweet Bloom Coffee, as our anchor, supported by a rotation of coffees from reputable roasters across North America (and sometimes beyond). We provide a healthy mix of roast profiles, origins, and blends that match what our clientele desires.

THE FOUNDERS

The founders of Beleza Coffee Bar are Greg Lefcourt and Nafisa Ramos. Greg has been actively involved in the specialty coffee industry since 2000. He is a professional barista, former barista competitor and trainer, and manages the coffee program at Beleza. Nafisa’s focus is on the healthy food and drink fare available in the merchandise cooler and the ‘Beleza Mercantile’, a robust retail selection featuring locally made items and Fair Trade global goods.

WHY NO WI-FI?

Post COVID, when we were able to offer seating again after 15 months, we decided to switch off the Wi-Fi and focus more on social interactions vs. office space. This was both because of the need to have more available seating for our patrons, and because for many people the prior months were spent in front of screens, so we wanted to provide more of a community atmosphere. We have been very pleased with the outcome and have received positive feedback from our customer base as well. You are more than welcome to bring your laptop and hot spot from your phone, we just ask that you are mindful.
